Welcome Back to Sandy Lane Nursery and Forest School!

What a fantastic start to the new year we've had here at Sandy Lane! It has been such a pleasure welcoming back our familiar faces in the Garden and Sunshine Rooms, alongside our lovely new children and families. We couldn't be prouder of how AMAZING the children have been as they've settled into nursery life with such confidence and enthusiasm!

Our Big Question This Term: "What Do I Know About Me?" 

Over the coming weeks, we'll be going on an exciting journey of self-discovery, exploring our big question: "What do I know about me?"

Through our family group sessions, we'll be exploring lots of interesting questions, including:

• What makes me special?
• Who lives in my house? Exploring our families and the special people in our lives.
• What are my favourite things? From colours and animals to our favourite places to play!
• What makes me happy?

We'll also be learning all about our bodies and discovering the names of different body parts, including our heads, eyes, ears, mouths, noses, arms, legs, hands, feet, fingers, and toes. We'll talk about what these amazing body parts do and how they help us in our everyday lives.

We're also very excited to welcome our special friend, Debs the Potter, who will be joining us for a creative clay activity. We can't wait to see the wonderful things the children create!

It's going to be a busy and exciting term filled with fun, discovery, creativity, and learning. Keep an eye on our gallery items to see glimpses of the fantastic experiences and activities the children will be enjoying along the way!
