At Sandy Lane Nursery and Forest School, safeguarding children is a shared responsibility.  We acknowledge that no single professional or agency can have a full picture of a child’s needs and circumstances and we recognise that school staff are particularly important as they are in a position to identify concerns early and provide early help for children, to prevent concerns from escalating. 

We are fully committed to working together with all relevant agencies to ensure that children and families are able to receive the right help at the right time and that appropriate action is taken swiftly to protect children from harm.
