Rainbow Room - Big Question - Term 2.1 - What do we know about Winter? - 2023-2024

Our big question for this term has been 'What do we know about Winter?'.

Our focus stories have been, 'Betty and the Yeti', 'We're going on a polar bear hunt', 'Little penguin learns how to swim'.

The children have been offered a range of motivating, winter-themed activities to engage in and explore: ice painting, ice shapes with creatures frozen inside them, creating winter collages using winter colours and silver foil, artificial snow and icing sugar and ice scrapers.

We were also lucky enough to have some real snow which the children really enjoyed....
