Rainbow Room - Big Question - Term 3.1 What do I know about Animals? - 2025-2026

Our big question this half-term is 'What do I know about Animals?'

Our focus stories will be, 'Dear Zoo', 'Animal Boogie' and 'Farmer Duck'.

The children will take part in a seasonal walk to the local park and also visit the pet shop where we will see rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters and fish. 

The children will be supported to engage in printing with animal shaped sponges, counting frogs in the water tray and singing 'Five Little Speckled Frogs'.  Our focus songs will be various animal songs: 'We are all going to the zoo tomorrow', 'Animal Boogie Woogie', 'Five Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed', 'Horsey Horsey and 'Old Macdonald had a Farm'

We will also also celebrate Father's Day and make special cards to send home.
