A Busy Half Term in the Forest

Class: Garden Room Forest School Year: 2024 - 2025

We have had a very busy half term in the forest. We have taken part in insect week and used new resources to look around the forest for insects and completed bug hunting sheets. We have also made seed bombs to attract more inescts to our forest. As we have been thinking about the lifecycle of the butterfly this half term the children have been very good at spotting butterflies and moths flying round the forest.

We have used egg boxes to collect interesting objects in and talked about what we have found with our friends.

We have also continued to challenge ourselves to climb, balance and crawl through the tube.
