January 2026 - Welsh Harpist

We have had a very special visitor each week in nursery! Professional Welsh harpist, Elfair Grug Dyer, has been delivering music sessions with all of the children. They have loved listening to her play the harp and making music with her and she has even let them play her harp.
Elfair completed her masters and BMus degree at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester. She works as a professional harpist; performing as a soloist and freelancing with orchestras. Elfair is a Live Music Now! alumni, her work as a LMN artist has led to her passion of working as a music practitioner in health settings and in schools. She has been working as a ward musician at Alder Hey Children's Hospital since 2017, she has worked as a music tutor at Fox Wood Special School in Warrington, and has delivered many music projects at schools and nurseries across the country.
