Science week

Class: Sunshine Room Year: 2023 - 2024

This term we celebrated science week by learning all about volcanos, First, we watched some videos of volcanos erupting. We talked about what was coming out of the volcano and learned some new words: Lava, erupting, and volcano. Then we had a go at making our volcanos erupt. We added baking soda to a playdough volcano and then we all squeezed some vinegar into the volcano and watched as the mixture started to bubble and fizz and then run down the sides just like the lava had done in the videos.
