Term 1.2 A visit from the Firefighters

Class: Garden Room Year: 2022 - 2023

This week we were visited by the Firefighters from Winwick Road fire station. They came into nursery to talk to us all about what a firefighter does. They showed us their different uniforms and how they keep themselves safe when attending to a fire or an accident.
After their talk, they showed us the fire engine and we got to have a go at shooting water from the fire hose! The water was so strong and had so many different settings to use.
Thank you for coming to visit us today, we all learnt a lot and had so much fun!
