2022/23 Term 2.1 What do I know about Winter?

Our Big Question this half term is 'What do I know about Winter?'

We will start by asking the children the question and making a mind map of everything they already know about Winter.

Using a variety of fiction and non fiction books we will explore Winter and find out about changes to the weather, clothing we might need to wear and what we might see outside. We will explore winter colours to paint and create with, explore the changes in our environment and hopefully it will snow so that we can investigate and play with it. 

We will also be learning some new Makaton signs and a winter poem.
