Barefoot Safari - Term 3.1 2024/25

This week we have taken part in our Barefoot Safari in the Forest.
Staff modelled walking along the trail before the children could have a go themselves. We walked over long grass, through water, on hard ground, squelchy mud, crunchy leaves and bumpy sticks.

The children talked about how it felt and the sounds it made.

‘It's nice’
‘The grass is tickley’
‘Cracking’
‘It's cold’
‘Like cracking’

When our turn was finished we cleaned our feet and put our shoes and socks back on.

We enjoyed our Barefoot Safari today 🦶
