Forest School - Term 2.2 - 2024/25

This term has been a busy one in the forest as always.

The children have been observing the changes around them as Spring arrives as the new flowers grow and the forest turns greener. We have also thought about eggs, extending our Big Question learning into the forest, and made our own nests.

We have been looking after the forest by litter picking and creating bug houses for the mini beasts to live in.

The children have continued to lead their own learning creating a fishing pond and being supported to make fishing rods to use.

And of course they have enjoyed exploring, looking for minibeasts, challenging themselves to balance and climb as well.
