Welcome Back to Sandy Lane Nursery and Forest School!

What a wonderful start to the new year here at Sandy Lane! It has been an absolute delight to welcome back so many familiar faces in the Garden and Sunshine Rooms, and an equally warm welcome to all our new children and families. We're incredibly proud of how AMAZING the children have been, settling into our nursery routine with such confidence!

Our Big Question This Term: "What do I know about me?"

Over the coming weeks, we'll be embarking on a fascinating journey of self-discovery, all guided by our big question: "What do I know about me?"

In our family groups, we'll be talking about and exploring:

What makes me special?
Who lives in my house? (And who are the special people in our lives!)
What are my favourite things? (From colours and animals to places to play!)
What makes me happy?

We'll be looking closely at our bodies, learning to name different body parts like our head, eyes, ears, mouth, nose, arms, legs, hands, feet, fingers, and toes. We'll also talk about what these amazing parts do and how we use them every day.

Get ready for some creative fun too! We're thrilled to announce a special visit from our friend, Debs the potter, who will be helping us use clay to get wonderfully creative.

It's set to be a very busy term, brimming with fun, exploration, and learning! Keep an eye on our gallery items for a peek at some of these exciting activities!
