Rainbow Room - Big Question - Term 2.2 - What can I grow? - 2023-2024

During this half-term, our big question is 'What can I grow?'

The children will be taking part in a seasonal walk to look at what is growing in the local area and at the park.  We will be learning about types of fruit and vegetables and using these to make delicious soups and salads in our sensory cooking sessions. We will also be using them to create fruit and vegetable printings.

During this half term, we will also be taking part in some planting activiites and will start to grow flowers and vegetables. We are very excited to use our new green house. We are having some special eggs delivered to nursery and we will be watching the ducklings hatch and grow. 

During Sing and Sign sessions, we will be learning some new songs and signs, these will include Peter Rabbit, Humpty Dumpy, Hey Diddle Diddle and Goosey Goosey Gander.

We will also be celebrating Mother's Day, World Book Day and will  be engaging in some Easter crafts.
