Term 2.2 Investigating nests in Forest school

We have been talking about how in Spring many animals make nests to lay their eggs in to keep them safe.

We looked at images of different animals that lay eggs and remembered our duck eggs in Garden room and the ducklings that hatched.

The children explored the idea of nests in different ways in the forest. Some looked for nests in the trees, some found bird boxes and talked about there being baby birds in them others built nests with sitcks and leaves and others looked around the forest for eggs.
