Term 3.2 How have we changed?

This half term our Big Question has been "How have we changed?"

We started by asking the children how they have changed since they were babies or since they started coming to nursery. We asked parents to send in photos so that we could look at ourselves as babies and compare what we look like now and think about what we can do now that we couldn't do when we were a baby. We have drawn pictures of ourselves as babies and also pictures of ourselves now.

We have been celebrating our acheivements this year by thinking about "what makes us proud?" and we have had our Proud parade to celebrate.

Also we have been thinking aout how caterpillars change and the life cycle of a butterfly and we have be able to observe some caterpillars and how they change into butterfiles.

The children can now confidently talk about what they can do now that they couldn't do when they were a baby or things they don't do anymore now they are 'grown up.'

They are able to talk about their acheivements in positive terms.

They can also explain how caterpillars change into beautiful butterflies.
