2022 - 2023 Term 3.1 What do I know about Animals?

Class: Rainbow Room Year: 2022 - 2023

Our big question this half-term has been 'What do I know about Animals?'

Our focus stories have been, 'The Zoo Vet Sensory Story, 'Animal Boogie' and 'Farmer Duck'.

The children went on a seasonal walk to the local park and also visited the pet shop where they saw rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters and fish.  The children printed with animal shaped sponges, counted frogs in the water tray and sang 'Five Little Speckled Frogs' and watched 'The Animal Boogie Woogie' story on the iPad.  The children played musical instruments, danced and tried to move in the way that animals move.  We sang lots of animal songs: Incey Wincey Spider, There's a Worm at the Bottom of the Garden and Ten Little Tadpoles.

We also celebrated Father's Day and made cards to send home.
