2022 Spring term 2 - Focus texts
Class: Rainbow Room Year: 2021 - 2022
This term, to link with our direction of learning: "What can I grow?" our focus texts in Rainbow Room have been based all around growing or planting. Our focus texts have been:
- Jack and the beanstalk - Nick Sharratt
- Planting a rainbow- Lois Ehlert
- Oliver's vegetables - Alison Bartlett
The children have had the opportunity to engage in a range of colour and scent based activities, explore special story sacks with props and puppets and have enjoyed exploring all of the space throughout nursery including our playcourt and amazing sensory room! During this term we also showed our support for World Downsyndrome Day by wearing odd socks to nursery and selling yummy gingerbread biscuit socks to help to raise money and awareness for the charity.
