Term 1.2 Autumn hunt in the Forest

Class: Garden Room Year: 2021 - 2022

This term we are thinking about why there are so many leaves on the ground at the moment. In Forest school we have seen that lots and lots of different coloured leaves have fallen to the ground and we talked about this happening in Autumn. This week we have been very busy completing an Autumn hunt round the forest. The children took their hunt sheets round and looked for each item. We found it very easy to find the yellow and brown leaves but had to look a little harder for the toadstools, berries and cones, and we had to make sure we waited quietly for the birds so we didn't frighten them away!
