The Rain Won't Stop Us!- Autumn - 2023/24

Class: Garden Room Year: 2023 - 2024

Today was a very wet day at Sandy Lane Nursery and we don't let the rain stop us! We got on our wellies and waterproofs and went to explore our very wet garden area. We found a HUGE puddle- it was nearly the size of a small pond!

We had buckets, jugs, measuring cylinders, paint brushes, pipes and guttering to explore the water with. 

Some of the children collected water in buckets and used paint brushes to 'paint' our sheds and houses. Some of the children explored emptying and filling, measuring and moving water from one place to another. 

We also explored who could make the biggest splash!
