2021/2022 Spring term 1 - "Who looks after me?"

This term the children in Rainbow Room have spent time learning about the range of people who help them, both inside and outside of nursery. 

They were able to engage in a variety of activities such as; emergency services sensory story tuff trays, inset puzzles, BIG art projects and exploring the dentists "Toothbrush Bus"  as part of our Oral Health focus. 

They also created beautiful Thank You cards to give to all of the external professionals who come to visit them in their nursery sessions such as physiotherapists, educational psychologists and speech and language therapists. The children gave the personalised cards, along with special treats and gifts and took pictures for a beautiful display to show their appreciation to all of the important grown ups in their lives. 

To culminate our explorations, we went on an essential experience visit to Pets at Home whilst investigating "the vets"
