Julia Donaldson Exhibition

Lots of our children absolutely love Julia Donaldson stories, and after our theatre visit to see 'The Gruffalo's Child' back in October, the Gruffalo remains a firm favourite. We have been to the Julia Donaldson exhibition in Manchester, to see 'a world inside a book'. Here we became characters in the scenes of our favourite stories, including Room on the Broom, The Smartest Giant in Town, The Gruffalo, Monkey Puzzle and a Squash and a Squeeze! 

The children had so much fun, and when we came back to nursery and looked at the stories again, the children talked about how we saw it all in real life.
