Term 3.1 Seedy bread in Forest school

This week in Forest school we made some yummy seedy bread for snack. The bread dough was already mixed and ready to shape, so we cleaned our hands and got ready to go!
We each had a small ball of dough and we had to roll it then squash it flat! Next we coated it in a little oil then coated it both sides in seeds.
A lot of the children asked if it was for the birds because of the seeds but we talked about how we can use seeds to plant to grow new flowers, to feed the birds but also some seeds are yummy to eat.
Once the fire was ready I cooked the bread, it needed to cook for quite a long time but eventually they were ready to eat!
Most of the children tried theirs , some just a bite and some ate the whole thing up ?
